Describe the small load
For a few boxes, a trousseau chest or one piece of furniture, provide external dimensions, weight and contents. Shared household transport is not the same as express parcel courier service. Explain timing expectations early.
Separate fragile contents
A personal collection may mix porcelain, glass and textiles. Protect breakable items separately and do not compress them with heavy goods. Record each package number and contents in the inventory.
Clarify delivery scope
Confirm doorstep collection versus collection-point arrangements. Establish whether delivery ends at the building entrance or inside the apartment. Provide the recipient’s phone and availability.
